Katara is an online platform that helps job seekers create professional profiles and allows teams to discover and connect with potential candidates.

When you use Katara, you may submit, upload, or share information such as your profile details, resume, messages, and other content (“User Content”). You are responsible for the User Content you provide and for ensuring it is accurate and lawful.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By using Katara, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Service.

We may also provide content such as guides, templates, and other informational materials to help you use the Service (“Katara Content”). This content belongs to Katara or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.

You do not receive access to the underlying software, source code, or systems that power Katara. We only provide access to the hosted application through our website and services.

You agree not to misuse Katara or use it for unlawful or harmful activity.

• Provide false or misleading information
• Scrape or copy data without permission
• Access accounts or data that do not belong to you
• Interfere with the platform’s security or operation
• Spam or abuse other users

Katara uses third-party services such as authentication, hosting, analytics, and payments to operate the platform.

These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

Some features of Katara may require payment, such as team subscriptions or premium access.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout and billing management take place on Stripe-hosted pages, and we do not store full payment card details.

Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

Katara is designed to help teams discover qualified candidates. By creating a profile, you understand that certain information from your profile may be made available to teams through the Service, depending on your visibility settings and the features you choose to enable.

You are responsible for the information you include in your profile. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information that you do not want shared with potential teams.

You may update or remove your profile information at any time through your account settings. Changes you make may not immediately be reflected in cached copies or information previously viewed by teams.

Teams may use information available through Katara solely for legitimate recruitment and hiring purposes. They may not copy, sell, scrape, or use candidate information for marketing, unsolicited communications, or any other unauthorized purpose.

We reserve the right to limit profile visibility, remove profiles, or suspend accounts where we believe these Terms have been violated or to protect the safety and integrity of the platform.

These Terms remain in effect while you use Katara.

You may stop using Katara at any time and delete your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

Katara is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that users will achieve specific hiring or job outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Katara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Katara in the past 12 months (if any).

You agree to hold Katara harmless from claims or damages arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Katara means you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
